fathers day

this my dad and his brothers and sister. they are, left to right,

dan , phyllis , duane and ben.this was taken sometime in in the '90s
this is the first fathers day for me when i haven't had to scramble at
last minute to get a card , get it mailed on time so it would get there
in time.and then figuring out what time to call him and tell him all the
family news. sometimes the conversations would get a bit awkward,
but it always made me feel better to talk to him on this day. and i'm
already missing that. i wish that we had just one more day.at least
one more fathers day. one more time to tell you thanks for being my
dad,and that i love you. happy fathers day, dad...
