Thanks, that was very entertaining! He could probably interview each of them for 1/2 hr. or so, would be interesting. Hell I still check out Jeannie on wgn chicago channel every Sun. night, right after a few other old shows like bewitched. It is escapism. As dumb as some of that stuff is, that's what makes it funny..and nostalgic.The formulas they use for writing become redundant at times, but who cares? I heard at the time Larry Hagman used to be quite a partier at house Malibu beach house.

You're right, they should have spent more time talking about the shows, their impact (long term), and the endless syndication. no show can sustain endless reruns if they are crap. These shows have something tht appeal to everyone and that's why they last. and the one the critics thought was absolute crap turned out to have the longest rerun record under I Love Lucy as far as I know. that of course was Mary Ann's tits, uh, Gilligan's Island.
