here we are in late march of '67. more "GUESS WHAT!!!!",
this time with some fairly important news . i reported ,
briefly ,about a movie called "night of the generals",
a nifty ww2 movie . and ,amongst other things , i do
the fan boi thing about james darren , who was then
starring in our favorite t.v. show ..."time tunnel"...
sigh ,hey ,it was 1967 ,whaddya want ?

Time Tunnel, last episode: never broadcast.....
Title: "We're Cancelled"
Tony: "Doug? where are you?"
Doug: "I'm on the toilet. i haven't gone to the bathroom since
episode 3."
Ann: "Doug, tomy! No! don't flush!"
General: "What's going on? Why shouldn't he flush?"
Dr. Ray Swain: "General, we have a problem. That toilet is somehow molecularly connected to the tunnel, so when Doug Flushes, the sewage backs up into the Tunnel and leaves a horrible..smell.."
General: (on intercom)): "emergency, ornage Alert! everyone out of the complex immediately! Abandon the project! Abdandon the project!"
Tony: "Doug! Ihate to tel you this but this newpaper says 1900. we must be in a rich man's house. they haven't invented toilet paper yet."
Doug: "Don't worry Tony, i found a Sears catalogue."
Tony: "Oh...yeah. Don't get the newsprint on your ass."
Sound: Flush!!!!!!!! the Time Tunnel is sucked into a vortex, and Doug and tony are forever trapped in 1900. Maybe they can wait 12 years and try to save the Titantic again.
That was better than an actual Time Tunnel script.

Hahaha. thanks, that is so true isn;t it. those scripts would not hold up today. Like a lot of those old 60's shows, exceptions might Get Smart or something.
every week it started out with this: "where are we?" "I don't know."
Lot of thought went into that, huh?
