and another happy birthday to gramma allen

still do not have access to any of my files and so can't do a proper birthday post for our beloved gramma .but i could not let the day pass without paying tribute to the person who was our anchor when we were growing up in the '60's . so here's to you gramma , born so long ago on this day in 1892 . i speak for all of us when i say thank you,we still love you. and we still miss you...

Certainly was a good effort on your part to even get this out. Not quite sure what happened to your computer since little contact right now. Dan and Tammy went up there this past weekend so we had a "representative" to tell all the ghosts we still think about them! Said he went all the way to Gladwin.

I was just thinking the day Dan went up north, it was such a nice day it reminded me and made me want to go up there like the old days every other weekend. So I mentioned ghosts and the theme from "The Munsters" is playing, lol.

Well thanks for remembering my dad on that other post and of course we all still remember gramma on her birthday. I wonder what it would have been like to have been 10 years old in 1902?

No airplanes, very little phones, no TV or broadcats radio, Titantic had not sunk yet (have to wait 10 years), autos were a noisy nusance, "get a horse" they used to cry! And you did not have to be Amish in Clare County in order to use a horse and buggy.
