Wow. What a great tribute picterial of you mom. I even think there's a couple of pics I haven't seen perhaps.I always liked being around aunt Joann. And I miss her. Sometimes sitting around all the sisters and listening to them go back and forth talking, it always seemed like she enjoyed herself and oould make those funny in between comments with a wink and a smile, that would summerize the jest of the conversation with humor. Always looked forward to her visits to MI. God bless her.
Your mom always had a way of making us feel special, like one of her own kids, showing an interest in all the neices and nephews. I distinctly remember her talking to not only us but Pat and Kathy mickle as well whenever she was visiting from the 50's through the 90's. My earliest memory is of her in grandma's basement with our mom and us, playing 78 records on the old radio/phonograph, getting a electtric shock from it and going ""OW!" She was trying to show us how to do a dance, just to make us laugh. I must have been maybe 5 years old.
