as we observe veterans day this year , i would like everyone to
take a moment or three to give thanks to all men and women who
wear the uniform representing the united states of america .
and never forget the sacrifices that they are willing to make
on our behalf.
we old 27 types have our own group of heroes... above are the
pictures of four of them . they served thru ww 1 ,ww2 , and
korea . we love,honor and respect them .they were more
than our grandfather, uncles and fathers...they were heroes,
our heroes .and we will never forget them .

The Greatest Generation - they fought hoping so that we would not have to. as it turned out, for various reasons, we didn't have to. I miss them all terribly, and the grandfather I never really knew only through others' memories.
