eydie gorme passed away yesterday at age 84 . there was
a time back in the '60s when it seemed we couldn't turn the
channel on the tv without her and steve lawrence popping up...
and for something totally out of left field , here is she and her
husband doing chris cornells "black hole sun"
go ahead , watch it...you know you want to .and truth be told , it's
not bad at all .

Yes, I listened to it, along with the bizarre soundGarden vid. Sounded good. Yes, that's one couple that you'd think would always be around because they always seemed to be. Thanks for posting On another subject also I saw where actress Karen Black passed away.
i meant to post something about karen black but didnt get around to it.i definitely had to post about eydie,specially after that vid...
Ed Sullivan- they cracked me up everytime they sang something, it was very good, but often sooo corny. Beatles tunes down with a swing beat, and a "golly gee" pronunciation of the lyrics by Steve L. Then she would launch into this long operatic style on the bridge...then they'd wrap it up with a scoobeedoobee doo together on the last verse, and she would outlast him in volume, high pitch, and length on the long note at the end, wine glasses would shatter while he waited for her to finish as he combed his hair back in place, hahahahha.
