July 1967 The Timlin's were on a 2 week vacation out west while the Hoovers were staying at Grandma's while they did awaited Ben Hoovers army orders and they later wound up in Germany. I remember this night before because this is the story where while we  asleep, in our camper, mom heard the bear , looked out the screen, and had a sort of quiet panic attack lol. She woke up dad. She whispered: "Paul! Paul! There's a bear outside!" Paul half asleep said something like this, according to him anyway: "SO? Go back to sleep! What were you expecting? We're in Glacier National Park...not  downtown Chicago."🤣

I remember this card, and because you sent it I remembered that story. the card is proof IK still have my memory lol. I just need Q's...

We went up into Canada to their National Parks and up to Calgary Canada. Went to what they called the Calgary Stampede, a giant Western Canadian Fair. The night show entertainment was Comedian Jackie Mason, and the McGuire Sisters a three girl singing act]. And some kind of aerobatic act. We left before the McGuire sisters finished their act. These acts were famous for adults, both often appeared on Ed Sullivan. Dan and I politely put up with it. But we both agreed it wasn't as good as the Beatles or the Monkees. HAHAHAHAHA

This has got to be one of Dan's little jokes and contributions to the blog from up above.
