cool hand luke is gone...

just heard about paul newman passing away . and so another of my

cultural icons is gone . cool hand luke and butch cassidy were two of

my favorite fim roles of his .and in both he played the easy going ,

constantly smiling wise ass that i so wanted to emulate . but for

better or worse i never acheived . 'specially the petty criminal part .

anyway he will be missed , but at least he will always live on

through his films , not to mention his tremendous

philanthropic nature . there was no one like him .
