ok , i've been slacking off...

and sorry about that.been pretty busy with real life , and doing this music thing on the blog . on that note ( heh heh ) i am putting together another playlist to put on the blog . it will be at the bottom of the page like the first one , and will probably have a similar theme , minus the 78's . now mr t told me this morning he is going to record some more of them ( the 78's )...so i will put those on the first one and remove some of the pop hits , and place them on the second list .

and this is an anniversary of sorts for me . it was 8 years ago today that i smelled the sweet smell of fresh air (well, what passes for it around these parts ) as i walked out of the hospital after my fun filled 2 week stay. and when i say walked , i mean shuffled , since i had only been on my feet for 2 1/2 days by that time . not going to get into a lengthy story about the whys and where for of my being there , everyone already knows that story. i will say i had excellent care , and have high praise for almost all of my nurses .

but the event was one of those "life-changing" things that always happen to someone else . i was 46 years old , and these kind of things happen to , well lets just say older people , not one as young as me . silly boy , not so it seems.

so , now that i've got that off my chest (heh heh) , guess i'll go back to the music thing . i mean after all , i have to fill out my day somehow...

Mr. T says - It may not seem so, but you guys are lucky. In the old days, you guys probably would not be here. I am very lucky, no chest pains,etc/, knock on wood. Pat Mickle passed away almost 13 years ago this month, around Sept. 29, 1995, but I may have the date wrong by a few days. Even though he had Lupus, he was predisposed to the Mickle curse, the men's heart condition.
Here's to your health.....

i don't necessarly think it was just the mickle curse, but the allen curse.think about it...all three allen sisters had male offspring with cardiac problems.still wouldn't trade them for anything in the world though...

Music is a pretty neat addition. I find since you appear in a seperate window I can check out your page and leave it running in the background while I work on my own.

Guess I should check-out that software you suggested. Cool stuff.
