greetings from soggy so-cal...

we are having one of our infrequent bouts with precipitation , and as usual the accident rate is sky high . apparently people just cannot remember that when the roads are wet , they are slick and slippery . and that they shouldn't drive as they normally do . but...

the current temp here in my little slice 'o heaven is 34 degrees...high of 52...we've had a little over .5 inches of rain in the last 24 hours . and the snow level is supposed to be about 1800 ft , so there will be (more) snow in our local mountains...

on the other hand, i see that the current temp in clare is 23 , with a high of 26...and cloudy . so i guess we ain't got it too bad out here . as long as one can hunker down and not drive...

update : 24 hours later , rainfall total right here in spring valley is 1.77 inches...woohoo ! and we're supposed to have frost tonight...my tomatoe plants are not pleased...
