Thank you for putting that up, I missed it until 6 am June 24, 2009 as I was busy yesterday. however I thought about him off and on all day yesterday when there were a few idyll minutes. I often say this, but it is hard to imagine Paul at 89 years old. Plus I will add I often think of him in his
40's, when I was a prime time childhood land, and that is probably the best way to remember him. Yet I remembered yesterday when we belonged to the Grand Laedge Country Club for a couple of years, mom dragging us to the pool every other day in the summer.
Even after we were no longer memebrs he used to go out there and play golf with us, or by himself (partner up with someone) to get away. I remember, in 1975, we were at the pool, and atage 55 he demonstrated, just off the cuff, he could still "jack knife" and "tuck and roll" and straighten out off the diving board. People started watching (it was like watching "Cacoon," the movie) and this went on for about 15 miuntes. Hahahaha. I remember thinking then, amazing! Dad still has some chops! I wish I could go back to that moment and tell those people watching they should be applauding, "that old man-that he's 75 years old," hahaha, just to see if they'd believe me. Of course, when I write the book and the movie, this scene will be in there just as I wrote it just now.....
I believe today is also Kathy (Mickle) Williams' 63rd birthday. Wait 'til we get to Steve's, harhar...hardyhar.....
well tom,to be honest it was 10 pm before i got this post up,so i guess you can be excused for that little lapse.and it's kathys bday also?duhhh,thats why i asked someone(hmm,who could it have been?)to try to gather up that sort of info,so i could put it in the "file"...
I did mention several June dates in an e-mail earlier, but you may have missed it due to switching computers, so let's just put this one downas a technical glitch.....technical glitch...technical glitch......
