happy anniversary...to johnny b. goode




one of my favorite songs was released 52 freekin years ago .it has
been on of my all time faves since i first heard it sometime in
the sixties . i used the jimi hendrix version instead of chuck
barrys, well,just because ...below is a link to the wiki page .

Interesting - ain't this clip from some movie like Isle of Wight (Dwight) concert or part of Rainbow Bridge? About the last thing he did in Aug. 1970?

Always liked this version. Hendrix as awesome as ever. 40 years since his death this year. There is a new release mixed by Eddie Kramer called Valleys of Neptune with just came out in March.Thanks for posting. Still love JBG!
