happy fathers day, dad. i really wish you were
here to tell you in person , but i guess that will
have to wait for awhile .
i chose this picture of you because it epitomizes
what i think of when i think of old 27... the year
1966 , or maybe '67...the front porch at grammas ,
our car and trailor in the driveway . and you with
your flat top haircut . it looks like you have your golf
clothes on , and are prolly on your way to twin elms
maybe waiting for uncle paul and uncle vane . or
perhaps just back from there . those were the happy
days...just didnt understand that at that time .

I guess 1967. Good shot of that summer, the trailer in the background, right straight shot of the front of the house the way it used to be. Any day at old 27 was almost always a happy day except for funerals.
Also, I believe that was the summer your dad fixed the awnings on the house because it looks like the frame is only up above the froint pporch in the photo. Can't tell for sure.
