a bad couple of days in the history of america and
the allen family . on the 20th was the passing of
vane and gramma allen .
mr.t writes:
"1985…28 years ago, one of the most memorable yet miserable days I ever encountered in my life…..we lost both Margaret Allen and Vane Mickle. I believe the following Monday was the double funeral. I often call this day the dividing line between the last vestiges of childhood and adult hood, the line of demarcation between two different lives of “then, and now.”
“We miss them so much beyond words..."
and of course , on the 21st , exactly 50 years ago
today president kennedy was struck down by an
assassins bullets . there is plenty of reason for doubt
in the official version of events .i myself have come to
believe that , yes , lee harvey oswald fired those three shots .
but i also believe there was a conspiracy reaching
into the highest levels of our government to keep
the american people from knowing all the facts
concerning this assassination . and i don't believe
there is anything contradictory in holding these two
beliefs .
that being said , our families , and our country have never
been the same since...

Thanks for posting. the Kennedy Assassination was actually Nov. 22 but minor details....50 years is a long time ago, wow. As kids, we probably felt some of the country's fear, but were more interested in carrying on, watching cartoons, playing. But many people have said walking home from school that day, there was literally no one on the streets, walking or driving, everyone was glued to the TV set. I also believe there was some kind of cover up, or blunder. People have made millions writing books and doing films about this subject. We have somehow created a scandal for profit. when the Warren Commission report is finally released, I'm sure they will still blackout things, and have several lies in it purported to be the truth. Sad thing is, we now have all kinds of assassins running around in movie theaters, malls, and schools.
fixed it...
