We remember Shirley Temple, who gave a nation hope just when they needed it.

 "Oh my goodness!"
1928-2014

We'll miss you Shirley. America's Little Darling, who grew up to be as great as she was when a child.
Heaven now has a pilot for the Good Ship Lollipop.

Really? Just gave it to Cyndi? Yes, I've been drinking Shirley Temples a lot lately. But seriously our folks kind've grew up with her being famous and made them smile so that's great and she did beat breast cancer and spoke out about it before it was popular to talk about it which was courageous.

I have a feeling people of all persuasions would have hired Shirley Temple Black to represent them in public merely based on the fact she was positive and a total class act all the way. Yes I did think about that Shirley Temple Doll. Shirley Temple WAS a doll.

Haha. Just remembered during our '68 trip to CA, Lyle bought mom, Dan and me "Shirley Temples" while he and dad had a beer, at that place where the spiral staircase lookout tower was. It's on film.
