found these while i was digging through the hoover family photos .
and , they seemed appropriate for this weekend . these were taken
by my father , who also wrote the captions on the bottom of the
photos . in case there is any question where this is , it is the luxemburg
american cemetary . several thousand of our soldiers from ww2
are buried there , along with general george patton . there are
some more pix that i have yet to find from this little trip we
made , 45 years and 51 weeks ago today ...

Intriguing and historical...you were actually someplace most of us will never go.
by the way,this was back when memorial day was on the 30th of the month of may,which in '68 was a thursday.we went to luxemburg the weekend of june 1-2nd...
