sorry about the poor picture quality , but this is uncle paul
as i picture him in my minds eye . of course at this point in my life
the 60s is where i find the most vivid memories and so tend to
remember folks as they were then . hard to believe he was born
95 years ago . anyway , i hope he and uncle vane and my dad
are playing on a golf course somewhere . it would be only fitting...

Thanks for the post Steve. Yes, this is how I like to remember my dad also. He was a great father. I still miss him a lot.
we miss them all dan,we can't help it.it's the way we were brought up...
thank you for posting this. On fathers Day as Michaela and I were going shopping for an hour or so, I mentioned to her I wish I were playing golf with dad, at least for a couple of hours, because I remember the conversation and the laughter, and even the silence of just being with him. That would be the best Fathers Day gift I could possibly have. She and I teared up a little bit, her knowing she could not grant my wish.
