i know that we never ever addressed her as such , to us
she was always just gramma , or gramma allen . at any rate
yesterday was the 123 rd anniversary of her birth . she was one
of the guiding forces in our young lives , a role she fulfilled
without any seeming effort on her part at all .
i have nothing but great memories of her , as i know we all
do ...

Nice to see all of these pictures in this slideshow again. Yes, we all loved gramma and miss her so much. I still go up there and pay respects. Only great memories. Thanks Steve.

Same sentiments here, I loved Grandma and always will. Her home was our second home, and she was our guiding light. there is a song a folk singer I know wrote. the title/hook was "Look for the light, when you come home again" and that about sums it up for me, that little light on the front and on the back corner of here house at night will always be shining in my heart.
